Are you passionate about Sicamous and tourism? The District of Sicamous Development Corporation wants volunteers to serve on the Tourism Advisory Committee. We are looking for community members who represent:
- MRDT Collectors (1 seat)
- Boating Industry / Marina / Houseboat Companies (1 seat)
- Sled Sicamous / OHV (1 seat)
- Restaurant /Retail (1 seat)
- Shuswap Tourism (1 seat)
- Visitor Information Centre (1 seat)
- District of Sicamous Development Corporation (1 seat)
Call for Volunteers Timeline:

| Application Review: | June 8 to 11, 2024 |
| Committee Appointment: | Applicants will be notified by Friday, June 14, 2024 |

What is the time commitment to serve on the committee?
Appointments will be staggered and volunteers will serve either a one- or two-year term. The committee meets quarterly and meetings are generally two to three hours long. Meeting dates and times are determined at the start of each year. Volunteers cannot serve more than six consecutive years.
