Cemetery

The Eagle Valley & District Cemetery (also known as the Solsqua Cemetery) is located at 1711 Cemetery Road, off Solsqua Sicamous Road. 

Burials are typically arranged by private funeral service providers, however, you may make arrangements personally by calling the District Office. Cemetery fees are listed in the District's Fees and Charges Bylaw.  Flower Loops and Pots are also available to purchase at the District Office.

1) Purchase a Plot

Plots are available within the new section of the cemetery. A cemetery map is available online or may be picked up at the district office. District staff can assist you in determining what plots are unspoken for. You will be required to complete a Right of Interment Form to purchase a plot.

2) Install a Memorial

You will be required to complete a Memorial Permit Form. Before you order a memorial, remember to confirm the allowable memorials and dimensions.

3) Schedule a Burial

You will need to complete an Interment Authorization Form to coordinate the burial of your loved one.

Memorial Garden

The Memorial Garden is located at the Eagle Valley & District Cemetery.  This garden holds hybrid tea roses and plaques that commemorate our loved ones. 

Commemorative Donations

Donations for the cemetery and community are always welcome, either in memory of a loved one or simply as a gift to the community. Popular donations include trees or sitting benches.  To request a memorial, please contact the District Office to discuss the potential location. Fill out the Donation Request Form online!
