The Sicamous Beach Park and Sicamous Narrows are closed for debris cleanup following the Bruhn Bridge incident this morning.

District of Sicamous staff and Sicamous Fire Rescue members have retrieved debris from the lake and are taking next steps to ensure that the scene is safe.

We appreciate the community’s concern and willingness to help with the clean-up. At this time, the best way to assist is to avoid the scene (both the beach and the Narrows) to allow staff and emergency responders to continue their work.
