Notice of Public Hearings: OCP and Zoning Amendments

Public hearings will be held on Wednesday, November 13, 2024, at 5 p.m. in council chambers (District of Sicamous Municipal Hall, 446 Main Street, Sicamous, BC, V0E 2V0) to consider District of Sicamous Official Community Plan Amendment Bylaw No. 1084, Zoning Amendment Bylaw No. 1085 and Zoning Amendment Bylaw No. 1086.
Bylaw No. 1084 | Proposes to re-designate the subject property, legally described as as LOT 4 DISTRICT LOT 452 KAMLOOPS DIVISION YALE DISTRICT PLAN 8263 (1117 Shuswap Ave), from Town Centre to Residential Low Density to accommodate further residential development. |
Bylaw No. 1085 | Proposes to rezone the subject property, legally described as as LOT 4 DISTRICT LOT 452 KAMLOOPS DIVISION YALE DISTRICT PLAN 8263 (1117 Shuswap Ave), from C-1 Local and Town Centre Commercial to R-1 General Residential to accommodate further residential development. |
Bylaw No. 1086 | Proposes to amend the setback stipulations of RVP-2 Recreational Vehicle Park 2 (Sicamous Sands); reducing rear setback requirement, for RV or Park Model Trailer to the perimeter of a RV Space, from the current 3m to 0m; reducing rear setback requirement, for accessory buildings from the perimeter of a RV Space, from the current 1.5m to 0m. |

If you believe your interest in property is affected by the proposed bylaws, you may be heard at the public hearing or submit written comments. Written comments must be received by 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday, November 12, 2024, to be included on the meeting agenda.
