Jam Can is back!

The District of Sicamous, Parkview PAC and the Sicamous Curling Club will host a Jam Can Bonspiel on Saturday March 18 and Sunday March 19, 2023. Teams will be created for three age groups from the individuals registered (considerations will be made for families). Lunch will be provided on Saturday. Parent participation is required for this event. A minimum of four teams for each age group must register for the event to proceed. Register by March 10, 2023 using Amilia SmartRec!

Bonspiel Format

• Registration will be done individually
• Teams will be created by the tournament organizer's
• Cost is $20.00 per player. This includes lunch on Saturday, March 18.
• The teams, schedules and rules will be announced on March 15 via email. There will be no changing of players on teams.

Age Groups

• K - Grade 2
• Grades 3 - 4
• Grades 5 - 6

Tournament Format

• Each team is guaranteed 3 games over the course of the weekend.
• Prizes will be awarded to the top 2 teams in each division.

Safety

• Clean running shoes and helmets are required for all curlers.
• One parent from the team must be on the ice to assist.
• Curlers may only be on the ice during their team's scheduled time.
