Sicamous awarded BC Rural Health Award

Where rural meets remarkable: Sicamous Community Health Centre manager Karen Eastland, Councillor Pam Beech and executive director of the Eagle Valley Community Support Society Janette McClean recently attended the BC Rural Health Conference in Whistler, B.C. to accept a plaque in commemoration of Sicamous being awarded the 2023 Rural Community Health Award.
The Rural Community Award is granted to a community that has developed innovative and collaborative strategies to find solutions to local healthcare issues or enhanced the sustainability of rural healthcare services within the community.
This award is a testament to our healthcare professionals' tireless efforts and our residents' unwavering support. Together, we're redefining what it means to thrive in a rural setting.
