The District of Sicamous was pleased to welcome the Parliamentary Secretary for Rural Development Steve Morissette and Ministerial Advisor Edena Brown for a visit with Mayor Colleen Anderson on March 19, 2025.

During his visit, Parliamentary Secretary Morissette and Mayor Anderson toured the new health centre, which is a vital new facility in our community. They discussed key opportunities and challenges facing Sicamous, including rural healthcare, infrastructure and economic development.

We appreciate Parliamentary Secretary Morissette and Ministerial Advisor Edena Brown's time and interest in our community and look forward to continued collaboration in advocating for rural priorities.
