2025 Sicamous Community Banner project
We invite you to participate in the 2025 Community Banner Project where we aim to explore the powerful themes of truth and reconciliation through native art and native-inspired works.
Join us to create stunning silk banners. Whether you're a beginner or experienced, everyone is welcome! An expert tutor will guide you every step of the way. No prior skills are needed - just bring your creativity.
This year, we seek to honour Indigenous cultures, histories and perspectives by encouraging artists to create works that reflect these vital themes. Participants are also welcome to put their own unique spin on selected native-inspired designs.
Open every weekday 11-4 from February 10th to March 10th at the Red Barn. (additional hours can be arranged)
Cost: paint only $20 / paint and purchase of banner $40
