Grizzly and black bears are active this spring! This workshop is geared towards hikers, mountain bikers, runners, dogwalkers, hunters, campers, berry pickers, birdwatchers and anyone living, working, or recreating in grizzly and black bear habitat.

Learn how to prevent bear conflicts and how to respond safely if/when you encounter a bear. Safety training will include hands-on practice with inert bear spray.

Workshop leader Gillian Sanders has 22 years of field experience in grizzly bear conservation.
